RE SX sound quality?

I would personally take a Mag much sooner then I would take an SX.

RD Audio is fairly new. Same buildhouse as Atomic, but completely different woofers.

There are more reviews on ROE though most people here dont like ROE.

I can answer most questions for you however.

I never did like the sound of the RE SX. Fi Q had a much better low end extension, but doesn't meter as high.

bah, i had both a 12" Mag and 12" SX. the SX was louder, and now i have a 15" mag //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I wasn't impressed by the SX at all. I liked the HD3 much better.

I have a 12"sx in my car now running off 1kw. It gets loud AND sounds good at the same time.

mag's dont have near the build quality of sx's,and sx's sound good,i dont no where some of you get yalls info,i guess from the bathroom wall or something.lol

ive owned both and would disagree.

i had 2 sx's i had to send back for warranty issues...

I've had 2 SX 15s both sealed in 4 cubes and ported in around 8 on between 2000 and 2400 watts. Sealed they were magnificent. I'd put it up against a Mag 15 sealed anyday. I will say that I haven't heard a Mag before so my statement is not as credible as someoen that has heard both. The SX gets low and is not lacking SQ. Ported they are deafening. I wont' comment on the performance of a Mag ported. I have seen very impressive numbers from Mags that I haven't see from SXs. Based off what I have read adn learned I would venture to say that they are very similar drivers. The mag probably has better low end but I don't think either were designed to be low end monsters.

SE 12" is a joke... lol jk. Good sub, but i know from experience that a 15" Mag would eat it up

dont sleep on se12's they can take about 1200 daily

but if u want loudness as well as something that sounds decent u can use t3audio tss subs

or icon subs(feed it around 1500 watts and wat it come to life)

Some act like the Sx;s are garbage.. I wager that the SX's will crush many a daily system in your area.. Of course there will be the guys with 4 15's and ish but they are absolutely brutal for the price IMO.. I reccomend them and I'd sell ya a set of you was local

Wow. The SX is basically an SSD with flatwound coil. They are many subs out there that outperform it.

Have heard one system with a 15" SX and it sounded a lot like my old 15" L7..Got loud, but kind of sloppy....

I used to think my L7 had decent SQ until I got my SSDs. Come to find out, it didn't..And that SX i heard...Didn't sound good at all either.. BUT, it did get loud.

.. For SQL, I'd definitely take the mag..
