Tears in Foam on Subwoofer

I got a sub from a friend, and it has tears in the foam surronding the cone.

Is there a way to fix this? it's a JL 12W3v2, the attached photo shows the area, and size of the tears.

why not just take a picture of the actual tears..

yeah image came out small... Don't have my digital camera on me at the moment, but I'll try to get pictures up a bit later..
