RE SX sound quality?

Some act like the Sx;s are garbage.. I wager that the SX's will crush many a daily system in your area.. Of course there will be the guys with 4 15's and ish but they are absolutely brutal for the price IMO.. I reccomend them and I'd sell ya a set of you was local

It wouldnt have taken my Mag. lol. I've heard both but owned a mag. In every sx application i wasnt nearly as impressed as i am w/ the mags as far as SQ goes. SX's are good moofers, i just think that the mag is the better overall choice... Not to mention they put up some pretty nasty numbers.

I am 35 and have been through A LOT of subs. I can actually say that the SX is a great sounding sub and they get loud as hell. The build quality is pretty awesome not to mention I ran two Kicker SX1250.1, output power at 1490rms each, was pretty insane for a single sub. The only thing that would push me from an sx to a mag is the woven tinsel leads and I would not consider FI anything because of all the problems they are having in this matter. SX's are good, they sound good and get loud but since US Amps bought out RE they are way too expensive. A shop around here sells them I was looking to get a couple 15's until they said they were $475 each. I decided to go with a couple HD3's. I think the AQ are better woofers anyway and over $100 cheaper per sub.
