RE SX series...

ok, so i have been reading around, and have found that a lot of people like RE around this forum, and i have never tried them. after browsing there site to find out what they have, i have come to the conclusion that the subs to best fit my budget/rms ratings/box sixe restrictions in my jeep, would be the re sx series 12's. im gonna want to do four of them, and just wondering what other people think of these? or if there may be a better option im overlooking to be powered by a hk4000d modded to accept 1 ohm. thanks.

i got two of them with about 3000 watts ran to them and they love it and its crazy loud, Four of them would be a bit extreme in a jeep in my opinion i would do 2 of them if this is a daily driver 4 is overkill

overkill, SWEET! thats what i like! haha, but how are they in your opinion? do they go low ok?

i would say now is not the best time to be wanting to get into RE

if i were you i would seriously look into other stuff unless you can get them used of find a dealer to cut you a deal, cause msrp is going to bite you n da arse, they are good subs but not worth msrp price, at all

Yeah, for the price of 4 Sx's you could get 4 other subs from another company that would out perform them

ive got two and am selling them..i only used one and it got pretty loud with a nine.1 on it but they require alot of room and yea i think 4 would be overkill for a DD 2 should work out just fine and with only 2 you will not need to worry to much about electical..powering 4 would drain your car very fast unless you upgrade all your electrical

If you dont like the prices of the SX's look into the soundsplinter rlp or the audioque HD3. I will be willing to sell mines to you if my cousin decides not to buy them, i will give you a nice price for two of them
