RE SE10 box concern... ??

so i am building a box for a friend.

re recommends 1.25cu ft for optimal @34hz for the se10"d4

but i drew up a box design for 1.66 gross(1.33 after port displacement and the like) for 35hz.. 21sq inches of port--- 30"long(trying to be as specific as possible).. the sub will be seeing about 800rms daily--which i know they can handle.. which leads to my concern.....

my concern is, the box is slightly larger than factory recommendation.. i am thinking it is fine, but i am seeking for second opinions. is it too big?

i guess that would be my concern.. is it too big for a single :yumyum:10"?

bx built and installed within 5 hours... 1.6 cu ft, 35hz, 21sq inch port... just awesome sounding..

this thing surprised me actually.. i was expecting some increase in output from a 1.33cu ft sealed enclosure to the new ported.. but not this significant... very pleasantly surprised with this little sub

like i said, this was a very quick reinstall of the equipment.. and i am impressed with RE audio.. and quite pleased with this little setup ... i am sure my friend will enjoy the new setup
