RE SE rms

Right now i got a 15" re se in a 4 cu ft box tuned to 34hz running off a us amps xt1000d. im suppose to be getting 550 watts out of the amp, but i know the sub can take more. i was wondering how much can the se 15's take rms on the daily really, not the rated 600rms?

I have given as much as 900watts to one alone. But 750 is ideal

Because more watts = more hot chics.

Should've gotten those pyle subs that can handle like 3000 watts.....on each coil...

For the OP: I wouldn't go past 700, 750 even though everyone talks about putting 1000 to them.

We are talking less than a decibel gain in a perfect world with no power compression for the risk of frying your driver. Unless your going to be competing on a meter the RMS is what they can safely take and anything more is stupid.

Here we go again. More and more people asking about the rms of the RE SE drivers. Do a search...plenty of other people ask the same dam thing.
