Both will get pretty loud, but I would go with the SE for a couple of reasons:

A) The rest of the jagoffs in your jagoff neighborhood won't have it.

B) It will sound somewhat better than a loud ragged fart, which is what a Type R sounds like.

1500 would be a shit load for a SE, but an SX....perfecto
