Am currently deployed overseas but soon am coming back so trying to decide what would be the best option to sit in my explorer. Spending limit will be 1500 1700 pushing it. Am looking getting two 15's, had a pair of l7 15's and want louder but still retain that sound quality i need. Have been looking tons but need further advice from someone with personal experience with either of these 3 subs or. Really wanting to go with RE this time around but have heard the gti has relatively good sound quality while achieving very good spl. The 9500 on the other hand ive heard has tons of spl with lower sql. im wanting to spend around 900 max on the subs and max of 600 on the amp. Worked with many brands but am needing a change of pace.

haven't heard to great of things about the 9500...although I love the way they look. All 3 options are different=good.. try out the GTI's.. dont hear many reviews on em. MX is gonna be the most expensive no doubt.

JBL GTi if your looking for something that can get loud and has good SQ. The reviews I have read are pretty impressive. I know a few people that have them or have had them. Its not going to be an SPL mosnter but it will get hella loud and keeps its composure while doing it. There are some reviews out there. Just not sure if there is one on this site. Do a search for all three of them and a comprison after reading the reviews.

If you cannot find anything on the GTi shoot me a pm and will pm you a few links.

I am overseas as well. So we got the Navy, Marines, Army all in one thread and now we just need the Airforce to chim in.LOL

I do not know enough about the others you listed to comment on them.

I'm not in the Airforce but I would go with the GTI's. I've heard a few setups with them and they sound excellent and get plenty loud. Match 2 15's with an Autotek 4000.1D and your only at about $1200 or so.

I can vouch for the JBL GTi's, to my ears my GTi sounded better then my Fi Q IMO. I've had 2 people judge and both said the JBL sounded better than the Fi. It gets nice and loud and has awesome SQ.

Has to be one of the most under-estimated subs out there. Nobody seems to care about it because its "JBL" a well known brand.
