re-doing wall, any ideas?

for a while i was considering uprading my two 18'' BL's to something that can handle full potential from my PowerBass XA 4000D and subs that will be able to get higher on the meter from my current peak 151.3. im wondering if going up to the BTL's/MT's would do the trick, im also considering tearing the wall out and rebuilding it and doing four 15's just to have more cone area and still be able to get that powerbass amp working to its potential.

any ideas or input would be appreciated, and if any sub recomendations. my price limit on subs would be about $1500.00(hoping) but can definetly go higher if needed.

Do you compete or something? Because 151 should be hella enough for a DD IMO.

no just want a ridiculously loud daily driver.

Maybe it's just me, but 151.3 doesn't really seem very loud for a walled set up. I get almost that loud with a pair of 10" BL's. You can try upgrading to the BTL's, but they have a much heavier motor assembly and you might not gain much by switching over. You might want to try your idea of switching to four 15's instead. I run 4K too, and Fi recommended the BL's over the BTL's due to the limited amount of power I was planning to run.

That could be true, but he was talking about getting higher on the meter, not about being louder driving around.
