Re building box for (mystery) Bazooka 12's.

Hey i have some bazooka 12's that i recently snagged from some guy. they sound ok, just don't know recommended power, and there isn't any model number or anything, (sticker is gone or messd up)

The box it came with is sealed, but leaking badly and the mounting screw holes are all crappy and worn out. so i wanted to build a new box, (my first one).

the dimensions for the old box (internal) are 13x12x27.75 1.25 per sub. what would happen if i made the box bigger, to (internal) ex. 14.5 x 14.5 x 29.75? Space isn't an issue, would it be best to keep it at 1.25 cu in per sub, or would they maybe benefit a little from more space?
