OMG!! JL subs aren't the loudest. Extreme low distortion SQ subs aren't loud. Who'd have thought? Trying to remember when JL started passing their subs off as SPL drivers...hmmm...errr...that's right, they never have. some RE stuff isnt cheap either tho

both companies higher end stuff is some of the best (XXX - w7) but if you're talking about their entry/lower end models - i think you can probaly do better than both for the money.. and even still find something comparable to their topend stuff for like half the price

tip: dont buy retail. buy from a 'seperate' dealer, who still gets them new like retailers, just for a NORMAL price. high even..

18" XXX = MSRP 2,100+

lets say i didnt pay anywhere near that. paid a lot, but nowhere near that shit.

and yes, RE is sick as ****. i have 2 12" SX's in my whip on 1,500w and shit gets LOUD. turns a lot of heads..

but as of tomorrow my 18" XXX will be in.. so we'll see how that goes

well for one thing, that amp will not push a pair of SE's to their fullest capabilities. it will only do like 7-800w if that. i would look into the 4000D or bump up to the merlin MD1d.

if you are going to run a single 2000D, hit up a single RE SE and maybe port it.

Unless if you have a connect that is selling RE for a smoken' deal...........If your interested in RE let me I can plug with a price you can't say no..............Oh yeah go with the SX much better
