re audio xtx-3000.1?

I too was looking at this one, the quart and also the rockford prime R1000-1D for about $250, but ultimately went for the re audio 3000 because it stated 1ohm ratings, which the rockford did not,

and the mbquart onyx required 2guage instalation, instead of the 4guage I have

Also that gave me the impression that it is more power hungry and my electrical is not up to par yet.

I know I should have went for 0 or 2 guage,

But that's what I had for now I prob do over next spring if my lights dim.

I realize I haven't finished my big 3 wiring to the alternator and engine but that's next.

I just got a kinetic 600 after reading up that caps are a waste of money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I realize I a novice at this, but It's a fun learning curve.

And you point of this post was.....?

Hey I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this amp, its not cea certified I dont think, but i thought digital amps were good too. anyways just need info about it.
What do you mean by "digital amps?"

Both a good amps. I prefer the MB Quart over the RE Audio

The Mb Quart has a pretty good track record on the forums about it being a good budget amp. Re audio is just not up to par with what they used to be as well as Us Amps. This won't mean that the re won't put out rated as it very may well, but I'm going track record and my vote goes to the MB. I also hear that the new Autotek M4000.1D's are very simliar if not the same as the MB Quarts. I owned one not to long ago and it was pretty good as well. I do not believe that it put out 1500 rms at 1 though. My NINE.1 seemed to outperform it.

Sorry I tend to go offtrack,

I also believe that the MB is the best bet..

I bought the onyx80 for my mids/highs but didn't put it in yet.

I had an Autotek1400.4 MM series a few weeks back and it was dam solid.

I used for mids/highs, and then put it on 4 12"Hifonics at 2ohms each and it kicked..

Anyway I just wanted to add that

I believe the RA Audio may be a more efficient design,

From reading their info on website,

So yeah I'm taking a chance on them & will let you know.

After peeking at the inside,

It looks very modern with micro circuitry and rather large 2200uf caps rated at 80volts..

Also those two huge torriods..
