Re audio sxx bit the dust after 3 days

There are always freak accidents. Coulda been something lodged in the gap, coulda been a tiny connection gone bad causing arcing.. coulda been lots of things. I suggest you move onto some of the better companies. RE used to be top notch.. it's not anymore, however.
All possible options. Not highly likely do to the short use though. I agree that there are better subs for the price though.

I agree with you 100%

The box is 38 inches wide, 19 inches high and 14 inches out tuned to 33hz. It comes out to be 3.8 cubes. Last night I did notice excessive blinking of my headlights when the bass hit hard. My headlights never blink. I have a RF 10 farad cap and a second battery in the back of my truck. Tonight when I re-installed my 2 10s and the bass hit the same way, there was no blinking of the headlights. I think it was a faulty woofer.

Issue found. Capacitors cause voltage spikes.. they don't prevent them. Well, they do.. only for a couple of minutes though. After those minutes are up.. it's an extra draw.

I am not one to slam companies particularly when its not their fault. The gain was too high on the amp and that is what burned up the 15. 1/3 of the way up was actually 2/3 of the way up. I was setting gains on my new RF 12 inch T1 and realized this. These new T1s are incredible on the lows and are 800 watts RMS. After talking to the RF technician, he said I can safely put 1000 watts to my T1 with no problem as long as the signal is not clipped.

It was not RE Audio's fault but my fault.
