RE Audio SE 10

Anyone know specs or box recommendations for an old re audio SE 10. This is before they came out with the SE-x models.

I used to run a pair of these; 1cuft sealed, 1.25cuft ported. I would tune at 34hrtz

From the RE Audio "orange" manual:

sealed (optimum): .65 ft^3 / (compact): .4 ft^3

ported (optimum): 1.25 ft^3 + port displacement tuned @34Hz / (compact): 1.0 ft^3 + port displacement tuned @ 35Hz

I used to have (2) SE10 and (4) SE12. The SE10 was in .65ft^3 sealed and destroyed my wife's Japanese "toaster on wheels" (box car).

Are the 2008 specs much different?That 2003 model has quite a high qts, which may be good because I have a .8 cu ft box I could throw it in....

There were slight differences, but nothing dramatic. I can post the 2008 version specs later today. You can tell that's when things start to go down hill, the coil changed from 8 layer in 03 to 4 layer in 08.

Btw .4qts isn't very high at all.

My bad, was looking at the .74 individual coil qts. Oops! Haha.
