RE Audio Questions

Ok, so I've got this guy that I built a fiberglass box in his Harley Davidson F-150 that has 2 SoloBaric l7 10's in it and he is wanting something that plays louder an lower. He mentioned some 15's but that is not going to fit. I've never heard any of them personally but everyone seems to say good things about them on here. I'm probably only going to be able to get a couple cubic feet out of the space that I have unless he wants to go taller with the enclosure. I was thinking maybe 1 12 vented but I don't know for sure which sub to go with. We've got about 1000 watts to work with maybe a little more. Anyway, if you guys have any suggestions please feel free to reply. Also where can they be bought?

there is no definitive answer...

a single SX tuned properly with 1000 should sound excellent, mine did...not sure if it will be undoubtedly louder than 2 10 L7's, but i bet it would give them run for their money...

i guess an MT or a xxx would be the way to go if you wanted to hands down beat them with just 1, im just not sure what an MT sounds like on 1000 watts but the xxx sounds good but at the same time craves more power...if you upgraded to 2k+ than the MT and the XXX, if not...i couldn't say for sure...

We may be doing something different now LOL He just sent me a text message saying he wants to use 2 15's if possible. I'll see if he wants to remove his front console as well.

is that 1000rms? he wants 15's now maybe 2 SE's... there 600 each you might be underpowering a little bit.

MT would **** off 1000w, go with an SX instead.
