It's installation dependent, but I would pick the SX if SPL is your top priority.

This n00bx, is impossible to determine from what you've given.

box, your install experience, coil configs, amp(s) being used, vehicle, ALL have a part to play in determining which MIGHT be louder

its comes down to install. you can have say a 18" MT in a really crappy install and a 10" RE in a awesome install and the RE will sound better

Go with the Rl-p then. More linear displacement, which means more potential output in a sealed enclosure.

We had a kid with 1 RE8 w/like 140 watts do a 134.4 on a TL Sunday!!!
