12" brahma vs. SI D2 Mag

I have a question how do these 2 compare in SQL,I heard alot about The si mag(good things) I also heard alot of good things about the brahma I currently own a pair of brahmas...just wondering if the si mags or on par with the brahmas and vice versa?

i think i saw someone say they perferred the sound of their xxx, which i guess is about the same. i wasnt really all that impressed with my xxx, it got crazy low but my dayton sounds so much better. and its only 135+shipping @ PE

I like my Mag over a brahma. That is just my opinon. Buy a mag and give us a review, or send me your brahma and I will write a review.

To me, the XXX and Brahma did not sound alike. I preferred my Brahma over the XXX, and furthermore, my Mag over both of them and my 13W7.

If you're happy with the Brahmas, why change?

**EDIT** Wanna see something koo? Put the XXX in a 1 cube sealed PARTICLE BOARD enclosure and throw 2KW at it. Exploding enclosures are sweet!

I got 2 brahmas in a dual chamber sealed box,running 600watts to each sub and the box is 1.1 cu.ft. will this get loud? and whats the smallest size of ported box(dual ) I can use must not be tunned no higher than 33 hz

What's your definition of "loud?"

My new Mag in 1 cube with 250 watts is more than enough to satisfy me. It is "loud" to me.

As for your enclosure question, the size and tuning will all be relative as well as vent area. Theoretically, you could make the smallest enclosure possible and still have the ability to tune it to 33Hz.

i was going over board anyways lol, ive played throw it up on my rlp 12 in 2.2cubes@32hz with about 1kw on it and you could feel it from about 20ft behind my truck.

**** now thats bass when you can feel it behind you,,see the problem is my rear wheel supports is 35 1/2" wide so my box could only be that wide and i must have room for 4 amps so if i could keep some trunk space I`ll be ok

imo - ive never tried a brahma or a mag, but if i had to choose what one to buy right now - and i had the money AND space required for them - i would go with mags.
