hooking up 2 4 channel amps but deck only has 3 sets of inputs. 1 input is my sub and its in use so for my to component amp how will I connect them?

ok ur head unit has OUTPUTS... 3 of them, front, rear, sub..... unless there is a AUX in there more then likly going to be all outputs!!

1 should be labeld F for front

another R for rear

and last SW for sub woofer...

WTF!! ok outputs! my question is how will i connect "4" sets of rca when i only have "2" sets of outputs minus my sub output cause its in use already?

Amp 1: Front & Rear components...

Amp 2: SW RCA...just set the input on the 2nd amp to only use the first input...

Splitters are going to be your friend.

now we are getting somewhere! how do I daisy the comp amp and will this effect the adjustment and gains for each. they are both kicker kx350.4's that I just got dirt, dirt cheap!!

what are you doing with the 2 4ch amps??? one for front one for rear??

use rca splitters... at the back of the headunit.

and after all that if you still cant figure it out.... haha then have someone do it..

yes sethphillips I'm running my 4 6x9's off 1 for the rear and my 2 4x6's and 4 tweeters off the other for the front so what type splitters and how would I connect them. sorry if I seem like an idiot btw I'm just trying to learn becausei wasn't born a car audio expert

wish i was born one....

ur gunna need 4 1 male to 2 female rca' splitters....

one for front left ( red) one for front right (white)

same gose for rears. you plug them into the outputs of ur head unit....

take ur rca's red gose to the spliters that are in the red input, white gose to the spliter that's plugged into white....

come on now... if you dont get it from here.. i quit..

ok dose you're amps have input's and outputs ???

if they have both then go into one amp's (input) and out the (output) to the other amps input.... daisy chain.....

Most 4 channel amps will send a signal to all 4 channels with only 2 channels of input. The manual for the amp should tell you how to configure it to do this.
