RCA signal issue

I've been working on my system for hours and I cannot seem to get signal from the line out converter doesn't seem to output a good signal. The gains are turned up 75% of the way and so is my amp. I have the hifonics brutus BX1205D that shows the voltage to the sub being around 14.1 or 200w to the sub. The RCA's are really low and not responding. I have all this hooked up to a stock headunit of a mustang convertable 1999 with no mach 460 system. The line out converter is spliced into the rear side panel speakers and the speakers are both 4ohm and are giving power to the converter. Can someone please help me!!! I have no clue and am running out of ideas.

you have to adjust those gain controls on the loc.

Oh, before I forget the wires are set from A5 to A8 which is the top right 4 connectors and the speakers connected are the rear speakers. The RCA is hooked up to the rear output and none of the selectors work (Factory/Common Ground/Lineout)

ok on the speakers you connected the LOC to... did it have 2 sets of terminals? i remember doing this in a mustang one time... if the speaker has 2 sets of terminals switch your wires to the other terminal... and check all your gains on everything...

I believe I found out what the problem was, the polarity of the speaker wire was not labeled correctly. I spliced a positive with a negatively labeled wire. I also switched the wires to the first set of wire inputs on the LOC. Located on the top left corner instead of the right corner. It just had to be something stupid of myself to do. Thanks a lot everyone for helping. I actually have a headunit comming as well so my issue would have been solved by the end of next week. At least I have some bass for my tunes until then. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
