any of you guys into rc cars or trucks. i am completely new to the whole world of real rc trucks. i just recently picked up a tmaxx, and it has a few upgrades done on it so far. since i found weld wheels for it, i will be using the weld velocities (i have them on my real truck) with the swamper tires on it, and i have to paint a chevy body. also, i am going to have my gf's dad (best fiberglass/gel coat boat guy around) paint a jeep body and get wheels and tires to match his real rock crawler. well, i just thought i would share this with you guys and see if any of you are into it too, as i just found yet another hobby.

I drive a Traxxas Stampede (electric), Associated T3, and an HPI Savage. Fun hobby, and I've been out of it since I've been away at college, but can't wait to get back into it this summer. Time to fix all the broken parts!

i really wanted a revo, but i liked all of the aftermarket parts for the tmaxx. i was going to get a used savage, but it needed some front steering components, front driveshaft, and a radio, so i said screw it. i also was going to get a tc3, but it wasnt too reliable, so i got a tmaxx with a hpi motor, upgraded coil over shocks, upgraded servo, ugraded radio, a couple bodies, etc...

i have a traxxas stampede with ups. all new servos, motor, rims, esc, connections, and joints. but im outta the hobby unfortunately.

So if anyone knows who is just gettin into rc trucks let me know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif i want to get rid of this thing...

\\but it was a ton of fun while it lasted //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif, but my audio hobby took over\\

i still have a Kyosho inferno DX-II 1/8 nitro buggy and an original gold chassis RC10. i sold my Clodbuster/clodzilla. I plan to build a scale tube frame rockcrawler with TLT axles after my 1:1 truck stops breaking every week.

so what ever happened to the kid from the first deal? Sounds like you got the other rc car I take it?
yea, about that kid, umm, when you get over here we need to take care of something. i took care of most of it, just bring a shovel.

i was looking at either a txt-1 or a clodbuster for crawling, but i decided that i would rather have a nitro. i think i am going to get a clodbuster anyway, just for crawling. make it the matching rc truck for the real rock crawler, just something to show off and play with on the real 4x4 trails and runs.

I have eight //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

The best I have is my rustler 2.5. I'd bet on it having around 700-800 into it with still the stock engine (bored out to 2.6 though). It doesn't really run right now since I started using 40% fuel which was just too much for it. 100% carbon fiber chassis, shock towers, tiebar, brake "calipers" are carbon ceramic, brake disc is drilled carbon fiber, and basically it's been run on every surface. Not raced because it doesn't steer in corners above 40 mph (HORRIBLE understeer).
