I had heard about this guy a while back and remember the story. Goes onto the internet cannibal community and puts out an add looking for a willing victim, sure enough he finds one. This guy has already served 3 years of what will be a life sentance but he can seek parole in 12. Videotaping the whole act Meiwes cut off the victim's penis before the pair ate it together, authorities have said. He then cut up the victim, stored his body in a freezer and ate it over the following months. I can't see how that wouldn't be an odd dinner conversation.

Euthanasia, is a somewhat minor offense under Germany's current laws. The defense shot for this originally but he was retried leaving this sentance.

Yes. Just because you make a valid request that an illegal act be committed doesn't make that act any less illegal to actually do.

kinda strange. but if a cop watched me hit my wife even if she wanted it(as if i could get so lucky) he'd still arrest me. Same as korvokian(sp?)

I don't think any court would charge someone for assault if you asked them to hit you.

Euthanasia isn't legal everywhere.

And snuffing you is a little far from cutting your schwans off and dining on it with you at a candlelight dinner. Not to mention then dismembering and eating your carcass, this was obviously frowned upon since even assisted ******* usually doesn't end in one person eating the other.
