Rate my future setup...

This is the best I could come up with for $1000 shipped. Im going for two 15" Kicker L7's, ready to go (in box, wired to 1 Ohm stable) being pushed by 2000 Watts RMS by a Power Acoustik SL-2600D. I'd like it if you guys could look over what Im currently planning on buying and giving any advice or reccomendations. Please, however, DO NOT be closed minded to the price Im paying ...because that seems to be everyone's first reactions. i think that is a terrible price for a pair of sealed L7's and a "1700w" amp - they are over rated..

if you want SPL, get like a pair of BTL's and build your own box or something. $700+ shipping on a pair of okay subs in a sealed box is **** IMO.

and i would get this power acoustik over that one.

i give it a rating of 0. Im pretty sure that series of PA amps are overrated and that pre-fab box will ruin the potential of those subs

yea u could get 2 used 15 l7 on here for 400 plus shippin and buy a cheap box for like 80 and still get a nice kicker amp too

Everyone is saying Im getting ripped off...so I want to be SHOWN 2 15 inch kickers IN a box L7's for less than $699.99 shipped.

how can you say that a pair of BLs will have better resale value than the L7s when you are selling a pair for 200 dollar cheaper than the Kickers. The general public would pay twice for a kicker sub vs. an Fi sub because they have heard of Kicker. Just like people pay twice for JL equipment because they don't know any better.

Please dont say that the rest of your system will be stock.

A good system requires balance.

If you want a high watt sub system you need to upgrade the front stage (good components, and good amplification) so it doesnt sound like ***.

1.) Thats used, not new; and there's no warranty.
