ive been doing fantasy football for 7 (this will by my 7th) and please the BEST advice i can give you is DO NOT listen to those ESPN/Yahoo/CBS/FOX guys on TV saying WHO to start and SIT. They are always way off, do your own research and trust your GUT feelings. Don't listen to me or anyone else on this site saying to do one thing without justification. Trust yourself on this stuff and you'll have more fun and most likely be more successfully. Best of Luck!

i didnt even know what this thread was about when i opened it. i didnt know what it was about until the third **** post.

and i completly concurr. fantasy football is just as cool as dungeons and dragons. you people are playing a RPG game using real people as characters. they have "hit points" lol and all their paper stats just like all the characters and monsters do in D&D.

imo - whoever plays this game is just a huge nerd.

* Random selection of the draft order = Rolling a 20 sided die

* The draft = Creating new characters

* The NFL = The “realm”

* Your players = Your characters

* Your fantasy league = Your characters’ “world”

* Your league’s “commissioner” = The “dungeon master”

* The “smack talk’ message board = “Flaming the n00bs”

* Obsessively checking player stats to make the best decisions each week = Fighting dozens of small battles to earn experience points

* Watching games all day Sunday = Sitting through all night RPG sessions on lonely Saturday nights

* Talking smack because your runningback had a huge weekend = Bragging to your dorky friends that you just “leveled up”

* Assigning your players in preparation for Sunday = Buying weapons and supplies to prepare for a raid

* “You picked Oakland’s defense? Dumbass.” = “You’re gonna be a dwarf? Pwn3d.”

* “Lookout, *****! I’m playing Larry Johnson this week!” = “I’m arming my +99 helmet of the gods! All your base are belong to us!”

Both are consistant point earners, but, if given the chance, I would draft a badass running back over Peyton, considering I might have time to pick up one of Peyton's receivers in a later round.

best WR in football is Andre Johnson. if Manning was throwing to him, it would be very obvious. been watching Travis Henry here in Broncos training camp. the guy is a bowling ball. best back here in denver by far since terrrel davis, if he can stay healthy.

Right, but he's had David Carr and (going to be) Matt Schaub throwing to him. His stock all depends on how Schaub does this year.

peyton throws to reggie wayne, marvin harrison, and dallas clark.....how many td's can jackson honestly score in one game? seriously, what maybe 3 at the most? peyton on the other hand can easily throw for 4-5 tds, plus his passing yards are usually pretty decent. TD/int ratio good too... my pick is peyton in the top 3.

so yea! im going to equip my running guy with a +33 helmet of fire so when somone tries to tackle him, his fire shield will raise his defense, and its got +2 to luck!

I think Fitzgerald gets more passes than Boldin.

I don't have Ronnie Brown in my top 50 as well. Him and Clinton Portis are the two running backs that I'd like there, I just don't know where to put them. They're not even top 20 players in my book, but they belong somewhere there, I think.
