Rant: Got my sub today

i would say the same except we tested w 3 different cars and 3 different boxes lol, 3.8@38hz in a spectra wired at 1 rising to 2.78 on a aq 2200d slot port, 4.7@46hz in a 4dr cavy on an ia9 got 1268 wired at one rising to 3 10"pvc for port, and 4.9@52 in an intrepid wired at 2 rose to 6-7ohms on an audio pipe 3000 and also wired at .5 on a ss Goliath got 2010wrms pulling a 150.7db on the tl and why would you think that the material the coil is made of wouldn't affect rise... metals act differently when heated...... all im trying to get a crossed is ppl have argued with me today about the imp rise of this sub that have never owned it, while i got dj's autograph on the hdc in my girls cavy atm lol
re read it, i said it does have an effect on it.....but doesnt completely determine it.

there are other factors that matter more than the material that the coil is made of

I was at work all day, then fell asleep as soon as I got home. I didnt even manage to call AQ today //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif God **** am I ever a lazy bastard.
Anyway im going over to my buddies shorty to check the coils, I hope he has his friggen multimeter or im going to to get black out drunk.

Either way the sub is not going to get sent back out. At least not as of right now. I might end up dropping more coin and going with a zx1500.1 I just wanted that SAE 1200 because they are a hell of a deal.

If you are looking for good cheap power how about the Audiopipe AP3000, just keep the gain down, although I am sure the HDC would take it.

lol, dont get me started.

The coils are 2 ohm thank god. My buddy had three different multimeters. One said they were both 2 and the other one we used which is a nicer brand said they were 1.6

So with that being said im getting the SAE1200d //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
