random wires

i have a 2ch kenwood excelon amp till my rockford T1001bd gets here in a couple days and i have 3 wires that are coiled together running to the remote/ground one of those. And They are red, black and blue, but the only wire that is plugged in is the blue and the red looks snipped and the black looks like it should be grounded but the amp still runs and plays music and i dunno where the other 2 wires go?

woah what? red blue and black wires? which ones are ran where now? assuming that those are the only three wires you have, the red should be your power wire, black should be ground, and blue should be your remote wire.

all you need is a power wire ran to power source, a ground wire to your frame/chassis/whatever, a remote on wire ran to your headunit, and whatever speaker wire your using.

Hell yeh. washington is the shit when it rains, LOL and its almost like the wires are connected and then split at the end and the blue is the remote and the red is just there and the black is hangin out like it should go somewhere and there 16ga wires. But i mean the mapo runs like it always has and im not tooo worried cuz im gettin a new amp, but for now i want to know

yeah pictures would help hehe. just make sure a wire is ran from power on amp to a battery, the ground on amp to a good ground spot, and the remote on the amp to the remote on the headunit, and thats it. sounds like your fine.

yeh i think the ground came off when i was rewiring my subs and i moved my amp and i had it PRO installed when i first go it so i dont think they would do anything to the wires
