How do you like your 57?

I saw Impact guns had them on sale for $599 and I was going to buy one until I looked for ammo.....

I like it. The magazines are iffy. I bought 4 extra factory magazines. 2 of my 6 mags feed great. The other 4 sometimes get jammed up and you literally have to slam the magazine on something hard to get the follower to move. I took them apart and oiled the inside of the mags, and they don't do that as often now. I just wish they had 30 round "extended mags" for the Ruger like they do for the FN. It's a ton of fun to shoot.

I have shot a few 5.7x28's over the years in handgun and rifle form. I like that round tbh but it is so expensive to make. Plus it is what a lot of German Police and MP's use as well. Handgun and rifle prices are decent but the ammunition is just crazy to buy.

Also PMC is South Korean Made and damn good stuff. I used to buy that a thousand rounds at a time for my 5.56x45 and for my SKS & AK along with for the 9mm and my .45. It is hard to get as PMC also has the South Korean Military Contract as well. Nothing wrong with that stuff one bit.

Yeah, my next gun purchase around tax season sale time is going to be a CMMG 5.7x28 AR upper and a ton of mags

Wow unreal. Was part of a rescue effort when I was a FF'er in Illinois when town just northeast of us got hit by a tornado. Wasn't anywhere near as bad but those scenes are always heartbreaking. We had to go in a building with two other city fire depts on a house that was getting close to collapsing. I can't remember if it was 4 or 5 that we had to go in and get as they were all in the basement of this huge 2 story with a full finished basement. Talk about scary as hell!

Also lived through a flood with 4.5 feet of water in our house one spring when the Kankakee River flooded. I always feel bad for those families and fire depts having to deal with this after being there myself.

Incorrect. This is nowhere near the worst tornado ever or the worst tornado outbreak. The length of ground time is impressive but it wouldn't even make the list of worst tornadoes ever.
