Ran into some problems

I'm getting some popping sounds from my sub. I just installed all new RCAs, re did the 2chan amp ground. The sub amp is grounded to the battery. and the battery is grounded to an area where I drilled and sanded it down. What the hell is the problem. Can't figure it out.

Also the bass is quiet.. I have gain set about 1/2-3/4. Never been like this. Maybe its so close to the trunk now because of my amp rack.

I did use a DMM on the sub outside the box and it registered .9-1 ohm

you have battery in trunk i take it. if so its possibly a weak ground. try running a ground from the front bat to the rear bat.

k not enough wire to do that right now, but i'll try it out when i get some more wire. i have enough 4 gauge to run from the front to the back but that'd be a bad idea.

i moved the amp ground, and still no luck
