Would ideally like sub front, port top to push more sound through the 6x9 bays that will be empty(blow thru of sorts..)

What subs are you going to use and what kind of power? also are you wanting to just port through the top of box and let the air "blow through" your open 6*9 locations or run ports through said 6*9 locations?

one large port and common chamber will yield better results. in other words increase output.
