Ok, so I've jumped into my first fiberglass box....a couple of youtube videos and your an expert right, lol? Ok, so it's not the prettiest, but I did have a couple of quick questions.
1. The box is molded to the actual floor plan, and unfortunately it isn't even from one side of the truck to the next, so it's hard to put a divider in and get it right. Opinions of leaving the sides undivided?
I'm looking at a pair of SD-3 12's, and I've kicked around a pair of HDS210's as well, I'm sitting at about .8 per side, so 1.60 total before sub displacement.
2. Do I need to coat the inside of the box? I've seen here and there that you should rubberize to change the "fiberglass tone", but not sure if that's a wives tale, or legit.
I'll attach some pics, don't judge, it's still pretty ugly. I'll post more when I pick the subs and actually finish out the box. I think I'm going to rhino line the outside, there is only about 1.5" that will even be visible.
