Ram Crew Cab Sub Options

Hey guys I have a 4th gen ram crew cab. I would like to do some 8's ported under the seat. I mostly listen to rap,decaf, and r&b. Last boxes I had was tuned to 32,28, and 31 hz. Most of the pre fab boxes I found are sealed. So most likely custom fiberglass is the way to go. @CSCStang may be able to build you one cheaper, not sure if fiberglass is 100% necessary? is the shape of the back of your truck inhibitive of a regular box? he works with 8s and ext cab trucks a lot.

No, its just like any other truck. I was trying to use that bottom space like net audio if possible

NET Audio is a Dodge Ram specialist. They're not selling pre-fab enclosures. I've had them make us a few truck enclosures as well as one for my car. They take a while to complete the order, at least they did in my experience, but the results are awesome. I had them make a fiberglass bottom enclosure for a '98.5 Ram extended cab when nobody else had anything worth buying. That turned out perfect for my client.

If the port is tuned in the mid-high 30s it will likely sound a bit louder than what you've had before. It depends also on the max air space and the subwoofers, as well as amplifier power.

You can have someone build you one on here like @CSCStang as mentioned or even get a designed cut sheet and build it yourself with minimum tools that will be very nice.

I'm actually working on one for a customer right now. The bottom is fiberglass to utilize all the airspace possible. The upper part is MDF. I'm building it for 3 db drive wdx6.5 3ks. It will be ported and tuned to 37hz. I'll post some pics if your interested.

But ported is definatley the way to go imo

Contact them and talk with Paul. Sometimes ported is not possible but it might take the right subwoofers, which may lead you to one you haven't considered.

In that case take what you can get and go for more cone area.
