The ONLY advantage for a lifted truck...is ariel traffic shots.
Nothin like down the blouse in traffic.
But, I'll still steal reflectors. I'll still light em up with the frame.
AND I'LL STILL GET BETTER GAS MILEAGE
(and never hydroplane)
What does hydroplaning have to do with a lifted truck? They hydroplane because the tread design or wider tires. I actually saw where a completely stock Honda Accord hydroplaned off of the road, but my F 250 with 6.5" of lift and 37's stayed on the road.
Accidents don't happen because a truck is lifted or lowered. They happen because people think they can drive their vehicle like it is stock after they have altered the suspension, ride height, tires, etc. There are going to be pro's and con's with anything you ever do, and you have to account for this and change your habits.
