raised trucks...

where I am from, its popular to lift trucks just to make them look good. idk why people do it. I have a lifted jeep, but i take it off roading, therefore the lift has a real use. The balls hangin is a redneck thing

edit: but I still like them and i hope someone drives over you

To me lifting a truck makes a hell of a lot more sense than lowering one but I still prefer the look and would lower a truck over lifting it any day regardless of that fact that it basically makes it usually for what a trucks real intended purpose was.

we lift our trucks so we can pimp your girls out while youre riding around in an economy car, braggin about MPG and all that shit

I have a jeep cherokee. Mines lifted. I take mine off road all the time. for Fishing hunting. It has great use. If done right you can get the same mpg like if it was stock.

i like raised trucks to an extent. but its stupid when people drive around with trucks like this

yeah. theres 2 in the area i see on a weekly basis like that... and to me that is just stupidly high. but then again im sure most people think that us loading our vehicles cargo area FULL of a box and subs and amps is pretty excessive as well. to each his own. on a side note, I have been planning to jump my truck up a few more inches and put on bigger off road tires for more fun time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i say this because i knew a lot of gay kids at my high school last year who would raise theyre trucks but don't ever take it to go offroading and sht. i think it's pointless here in vegas.

i also think it's ridiculous the way gas prices are nowadays that people would want to do this.

its pointless to raise your truck and not go offroading no matter where you are but why do you care? i hope one runs over your camry.

I'd say its also the same for lowered vehicles. Who really hits the track or races their vehicles enough to take advantage of the lowered center of gravity and better suspension. Its about looks for most, people do what they like.

Mine truck is fun for camping and hitting trails fishing. Could a less capable truck go where I do...any day, but I dig the looks as well.

You sound like you have some deep rooted issues with these "gay kids"

Lifted trucks if put to use is great, specially with the bigger tires you can climb over bigger things, give better ground clearance between your differential and the ground, also much better wheel travel as shown above. For me personally lifted to where you can't get in and out of the bed or tow a trailer totally defeats the purpose on a pickup truck unless its just purely for looks or a straight up offroad vehicle.

I personally don't get people driving around in little econo cars but hey thats me. I just don't get it /shrug
