I have a set of the 08 rainbow slc's (new style crossover, cal25 tweets) paired up to ppi art a300 (75w per side). The slcs are rated at 75w per side. Ive seen two threads where people are giving them more than 75w. Supposedly both the slcs and the amp are underrated. However, due to capacitor aging, (1992 amp) Im not so sure its putting out much more than 75w per side, if that.

This leads me to believe that im not getting the most I can out of this setup. To complicate things more the crossovers will take an additional tweeter amp. So im not sure how much power I should be giving these...It seems like 100-150 per side would be safe, but then how much of that should be tweeter amp? So Here are my options:
Replace the a300 with something that does 150 per side
Add a tweeter amp (50 watts?) to bring the total to 125 per side
Replace the a300 with something that does 100 per side, and add a (25 or 50) watt tweeter amp
Id rather not replace the a300 as I really like the ppi art amps, but im sure arc audio has something that will work... Would there be a big difference? What is my best option??
