great work, I bet that sounds great...what kind of clay did you use to seal the woofers? Did you have it installed with out the clay at one point to compare the improvement in the midbass?

unfort, I did the install at one time, so I could only tell the difference from stock to these, eh yea wow! lol but I am running of the stock HU, still sounds great nonetheless,

but the clay is like 4 bucks at walmart, keywords, non-hardening clay, found in the arts/crap section Craft*

the standard clarion speakers had disintegrated and i was going on a long trip so decided to whack in the hertz and made some quickie mdg baffles //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif sounds ok - no midbass but better than the clarions!!

x2 (again) on the clay. It'll make a noticeable difference.

From the pictures it's hard to tell, but I believe Nexson used clay between the mdf ring and the sheet metal, in addition to between the mdf & speaker.

I would suggest doing the same. You don't need a TON of it. You just need to make sure that there's enough to act as an additional "spacer" (for a lack of better words) between all interfaces.
