Rainbow SLC install

Here are pics of my install. SLC 265 currently on MTX Thunder 564 but only two channels work, so they'll be running off an MTX Thunder 502 as soon as I return the 4 channel to seller. Sounds very crisp and clean. I only have the driver's side installed right now...the angled spacer was a ***** to make. Thanks to Premier Audio for the speaks...only problem was the scuffs on the x overs from shipment but they're going behind the door panel anyway.

I'm really glad I could position the tweet in the sail panel...I think it looks really clean and sounds good

It does look clean.

I'd like to know what kind of soundstage you have once you install the other side, height and width, etc, with that tweeter positioning.

I love clean installs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif If you want, you can paint the MDF adapter with oil-based paint/stainer so that it won't get f*cked due to moisture.

Looks nice but where's the deadner? u need to hop on that fast. i finished my passanger door and most of trunk, all i need now is driver door then im oprdering slc's from premier. LMK how they sound. reviews ftw!!! and im also interested about your soundstage with tweet location.

You did a great job! Where are the scuff marks on the crossover?
It is from the frame for the grill rubbing against it in the box

That's a good idea...

The deadener is going on today...I just wanted to hook one up yesterday to hear how they sound.

Here are pics of the complete install, all that's left to do is sound dampener, which I am doing in two weeks when finals are over. Thanks again to Premier Audio, I couldn't be happier with my selection...I wish I could say the same for my amp...some mother f'er on ebay sold me a 4-channel with only 3 working channels. Now I am going to get a MTX 502 for the Rainbows and use my MTX 4250D on whatever light substage I decide to get. Here are a few more pics...and a video, which is pointless I know, but I just felt like posting it...its without the rear fills because of the broken amp but it sounds great nonetheless

The quality is just from the shitty microphone on my digital camera...the speakers are perfectly clear.

Rainbows have a very good reputation and a couple forum members are authorized members that sell for a good price //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
