Rainbow Recommendation

I am considering upgrading my current 6.5" component system and all of the positive feedback on the Rainbow product is compelling.

Without being able to audition the speakers it is hard to tell which model to go with, but I am considering the Vanadium 265 set and would like feedback on this set from others here that have heard this model.

i have the germaniums and they sound great the tweeter is silk and not harsh one bit...

i am going to eventually upgrade to the vanadiums so if you have the money i say go for it, if you have subs get the 265 kicks some reviews have said the midbass is great in them

I had the Profi Van 365. The Cal26 is the best sounding tweeter I have owned so far. The mids are very musical, accurate, can drop plenty low to blend with a sub and were one of the best I have owned. The can have some cone break-up in the high octaves but with passive x-overs they mesh very well with the tweeter. The passive network uses high quality components and is one of the best I have seen.

Well thats my opinion and experience with them. There are a bunch of guys on here than are running Rainbow and probably articulate the sound better than I can with words.

Most people are very happy with them Germs it appears to be a great middle ground.IMO
