i dont know i have used and heard some of the best amps available and heard many iasca winning cars to me 50x4 just is not enough.. maybe for tweets and if you must have it rear fill but not for mids/midbass'...imo

I have 60x4 on my tweeters and midranges and its MORE than enough.

50 clean watts on any good efficiency speaker can get the job done, specially in an SQ install. Power needs depends on the application.

you sir, are definately in the minority. reason being, its enough for more regular people

Good point, but those cars aren't exactly built by budget minded individuals who are looking to maximize the price/performace ratio. You don't do better in comptition if you only spent xxx dollars and your system scored yyy points do you? Aren't there different power limitations based on class anyway?

The question is, if you can get 100wrms for the same price as 50wrms wouldn't you buy it? You have to figure out at which price point the law of diminishing returns comes in to play.

The amps are as stated, simply just solid performers geared to do their rated numbers and then a bit. Theyre certainly not "high end" but not your generic entry level/mainstream.
