I JUST GOT 2 12'S AUDIOBAHNS WITH A 1200.1 JBL AMP. MY TRUNK RADDLES SO BAD ALONG WITH MY BACK BUMPER. I NEED DYNAMAT BUT HOW DO I INSTALL IT IN ALL THOSE PLACES??? ANY TIPS ON WHAT I COULD USE NOW UNTILL I GET THE DYNAMAT $$$ TO REDUCE RADDLING???

yeah i know what you can use, it's called take caps off man that will help. no but seriosuly just keep it turned down or go buy some edead instead of dynamat b/c it's cheaper.

adam

IM NOT JUST GONNA TURN IT OFF, I STILL WANNA BUMP BUT WHAT ELSE CAN I USE TO STOP RATTLING? IVE HEARD THAT A TYPE OF FOAM TUBING AROUND THE SEAL OF THE TRUNK HELPS.

check your trunk for any loose panels and check outside for loose stuff, after it's all tight dyanmat the hell out of it...

caps lock buddy.. Ur never gonna get responses from the very smart people on here if you use caps lock.

and just use e-dead, or dynamat, a failsafe route.

try some weather stripping (Home Depot) between the body parts in the trunk. Also check out dumpsters for carpet or carpet padding. You can save a lot of money sound deadening the ghetto way. Figure out what is raddling first. My license plate was. I got a dynamat thing for it for $5 at circuit city and stopped it dead. Then my tire jack was rattling, so I moved it to under the passanger seat. Just be creative and patient and enjoy all the dirty bass those Audiobahns are pumpin out. Peace.

i put wheather stripping on my trunk but i put it where its seals way on the end. so did i put it in the wrong place or sumthing??? and also i have a spoiler on my trunk would that cause it to rattle more maybe? thanks for any help

if i use this foam(great stuff) temporary (im a poor mofo) until i can get some money for some better sound deading stuff (not buying dynmat but like brownbread etc) will i be able to remove the foam so i can put down the material or do you work around it or what.... just curious cause im a n00b anyways >//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

B-Quiet is a very inexpensive sound deadening material. (B-Quiet.com) I used Seam Sealer where the body pannels come together. It can be foud at automotive stores. Another thing I used was foam padding in my quarter pannels and any where else I could stuff it. I just used that pink egg carton looking foam for like a mattress. Get it at Wal-mart for $7-$8.
