R/U sub not working help please

Amp Power Acoustik BAMF5500

Capacitor soundstream SCX-8

sub 18 inch Dual 4 ohm with 3 hp lighning audio/tc sounds motor

wire is 1 gauge to the cap and dual 4 gauge to the amp

for power its got + rem + then seperate - rem - got 4 gauge to each - and + and a remote wire to each rem input the rca is hooked up to the master in plugs The amp powers up and shows the light the gain remote light turns on.....>>

I just got my amp and capacitor hooked up last night i tried to hook up the speaker but it didnt seem to work... i may have wired it wrong the amp is getting power and the gain remote seems to work, but the speaker did not power up its dual 4 ohm i went +amp to + coil #1 and - to - coil #2 then - coil #1 to + coil #2

im thinking i might have wired it wrong at the amp side or the woofer just doesnt work its got two speaker outputs but its a monoblock

its got +,+ on the left and -,- on the right should i use only one of these both of these doese it matter if i use left + with left - or what? like i said i lost the manual if anyone has any experience with this amp let me know...

is that a robot underground sub diid you test woofer before you in stalled it make sure its wired in box and nothing came lose and how you have it wired ++..- - that should not matter its a mono amp internal bridge hope that helps

i wired it and put in box and tested didnt work, took out of box looked at it and the wiring was good there.. i was hoping the ampside was messed up.. i hate for it to be the sub not working....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

get yourself a dmm and test the amp. make sure you have 12v on the +'s and remote.

be sure you have the rca/sub out on the hu turned on.

havnt upgraded headunit yet lol im usign a high to low converter for rca out.

then be sure you have the LOC properly connected and test the output side of it for Volts AC.
