slavery is part of the history of the WORLD, its been going on since the dawn of man basically. Ya it sucks, ya it is imoral, blah, blah, blah but it happend, and many times. Blacks have every opportunity to get themselves wherever they want in this country, sometimes an advantage (thank afirmative action for that). If your poore go to school (public school is FREE), hell all you need is a **** "C", if that, to go to college, financial aid will pay the way. Study your *** off at that free college, and not only are you at the top of the list because you were top of your class, have a degree, but also because your black (afirmative action). Why must ppl ***** about events of the past, events 200 years ago. Every civilization, race, whatever has had trials, and tribulations. Slavery does not negativly effect black opportunity seekers today, if anything new legislation has given more oppertunities to people of color (while taking it away from others whites/asians). But i can see this is and will turn ugly, as race/slavery debates always do.

why do you think there is less violent crime in white suburbs? people will do what it takes to survive, and when its as easy as going to our steady jobs to make a living and live carefree why would we do anything else? the blacks in the projects dont have that choice. stop acting like its the blacks choice to live in the slums.

i tell you what. if i grew up with half my mind i'd probley get a bike and some food when i was 14 ride as far as i could for a week. what ever state or city i ended up in i'd find the closest police department and tell them i didn't have a family. i'd get into foster care and and try to get a job at 16. save up till i graduate highschool and go to a vocational school or perhaps a comunity college. growing up with nothing you have nothing to lose by it. it would all depend on the motivation of the person and that little boy in particular does seem to wanna leave that place any time soon.

well now it looks like we are slowly getting some closure and starting to agree with each other. just go back and reread when i talked about black on black death rate. all i said was that the ratio of whites who have killed blacks is probley far less by now then blacks who have killed about blacks. and i know they can't change over night that is why outside people are trying to help with donations and such. and there are still plenty of people in the slums who want to get out and ARE getting out every day. even if you watch some movies now a days a lot of movies point out the cycle of things in the projects or where ever you may come from and try to point out the stupidity

This video is beyond belief? People are fighting over supposed territory that they have been displaced from as a result of a natural disaster? WTF?
