1966 Pontiac GTO, 389 Tri-power, 4 speed(was switched from a 3 speed), clean, run f'n amazing....I test drove it back in May.

i would paint it pearl black! leave the rims.. maybe shine them up.. or get some basic rims.. nothing too flashy.. some 5 spoke chrome rims would look decent 17 or 18's.. throw a nice exhaust on there if there isn't already.. and then go cruising

The paint is the original stock color, I'd like to keep it as stock as possible. Doesn't need an exhaust, loud enough as is. The rims are as close to original as they could find, its my moms boyfriends that hes going to sell.

if you repaint at least consider original colors . it looks like you have what may be original already though.

The letters for paint colors are

A-Mission Blue

B-Blue Charcoal

C- Cameo Ivory

D- Fontaine Blue

E-Nightwatch Blue

H-Palmetto Green

K-Reef Turquoise

L-Marina Turquoise

N-Burgundy obviously what you have got

P-Barrier Blue

R-Montero Red

T-Martinique Bronze

V-Mission Beige

W-Platinum

Personally me, I wouldn't change a thing.

I will say, I would rather restore an older car, rather than buy one. Just a prefrence thing. I miss the old days when me and my dad would restore cars together.......tear........., lol!

Gonna need to find at least a FM radio that is as close to original as possible, comes with AM only FTL. Probably no CD going in it.
