Next up I'm listining to Abandoned Pools' "Humanistic". This is an interesting album, Tommy Walters plays all the instruments and even did most of the studio work.

Gonna be a short night tonight, gotta get to bed extra early.

I'm starting off with "Pops Roundup" Arthur Fiedler conducting. This is pretty much like a movie soundtrack for a western. I find it really charming...and I guess it takes me back to the times when I watched tons of old westerns with my dad because that is a favorite genre for him. On top of that, the recording is really good.

First up tonight..... "Pressure Chief" by Cake. I think this might be their best album. The quirky lyrics are still there but the melody's are terrific. I especially like the cover of David Gates' Guitar Man.

Next I listened to "Palm Trees and Power Lines" by Sugarcult. This pop-punk band has some catchy tunes on this album.

Next up is Nada Surf's album "Let Go" this album is a FAR cry from their mid '90's effort that gave us their only hit "Popular".

The 'stat panels handle everything over 250hz I believe. That's why they're so big, if you just needed tweeter frequencies you can have a panel like 5"x8".

again, some nice choices.

might i recommend some Interpol? Turn On the Bright Lights has some beautiful songs on it. I'd love to blast them on a setup like yours.
