Haha.. Fun Fun.. Indeed. I ripped my "head off" when i was in college and had such a great time. BUT....
It is stupid. Undergrad degrees in general are over glorified. In the U.S. an undergrad degree generally consists of a shit load of "competency" courses that may or may not have anything to do with your course of study. Give me a fukin break. There are many disciplines that people study for during an under grad degree that are very specific. Music for example. Or History... Why the fuk do students have to do this core curriculum of BS such as statistics, English composition, etc.. to meet the fundamental requirements to continue with their major.
It is to keep kids in school longer, to pay the institution more money to finally bag them a degree that they realize once they have it, that it is worthless unless they grab a masters degree, which, depending on the institution will most likely cost them another 50k in student loans, WHICH is one of the only forms of debt in the United States that is not even protected by bankruptcy laws if you default, intentionally or non intentionally.
