"How To" install an Iraggi alternator.

When wiring up an Iraggi alt... there is a red, black, and brown colored wire. The brown would replace my 1 wire plug on my Tahoe's stock harness. Then there is the red and black one. Do i just disregaurd those and dont use them, or wire the red to a + and the black to a ground?

Red is your hot. I believe it goes to the battery.

Black is more than likely ground.

I figured the same, but someone told me that it would burn the starter out of the alt. if I hooked those up, and to just totally forget about them.

I'm not sure how your Alt. is supposed to run without powering and grounding it. But then again, I don't have an H.O alt. Been looking for one for my 2000 300m.

Call Dom and ask him...mine had no wires just a simple plugin.

Call Dom.He'll be able to tell you for sure so you don't fry anything.
