so seeing that i have d2 id have to get 2 1500sMy buddy currently runs 2 ap3ks on 2 DC 18s. He has no.complaints about them, they clamp at true power and aren't bad at all. I would run AP cause they do rated and are budget.
Getting the 2 1500's will be the same as getting the 3000.so seeing that i have d2 id have to get 2 1500s

ok from what i saw ap300d says 1500 x 1 @ 1ohm & 3000 x 2 @ 2 ohm i want the 3k from it so i have a d2 hdc318. and a d2 can be wired to 2 ohm//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
Thats not always true tho. Some amps reach the limit where they start clipping way before they reach the point where they are putting out some decent power. You should ask the people who use that term what it means. You rarely see anyone with much of an education level using that term.
Clipping isn't "dirty" it's just the USER trying to drive the amp past it's limitations. Distortion is distortion, and on
You get what you pay for. Tons of ppl use the pipe amps with decent results and they seem a fair value at the price you can get them for.... though they are not 1 ohm stable.
Look into Lanzar OPTI line or Maxxsonics stuff. They all make reliable 2000W range amps.
But don't they only put out 1500 @ 1ohm? Youd only get whatever they do @ 2 ohm if you ran it that way.ok thats what i was getting at. thats why i thout about buying 2 1500s and putting one on each coil
lol see i get confused on the ohm loads. but yea what you said is right the so. idk i guess ima just look at some other ampsBut don't they only put out 1500 @ 1ohm? Youd only get whatever they do @ 2 ohm if you ran it that way.
so pretty much i can hook up a 1 d2 sub and get the 3k from the ap?you guys need to learn how to read... he said 1500 X 2 @ 1ohm. so you can hook up 2 D2 subs (one per channel) and get 1500 watts to each sub. the 3000 X 1 @ 1ohm you could just think of as a bridged channel.
No, you'd need a d4 or d1.so pretty much i can hook up a 1 d2 sub and get the 3k from the ap?
