My god, you claim to be on some sort of competition team and you're asking these kinds of questions? You don't understand basic electrical impedance? *facepalm*
Go here: Basic Car Audio Electronics, start at page 1, and read until your eyes bleed then read some more.
ok thank you. i dont usualy mess with bridging. thats why i was confused...If you have 2 subs and each is dual 2 ohm you can wire each down to 1 ohm meaning with the ap3000 you could get 1500 to each sub. Or you could run the two 1 ohm subs in series to get a 2 ohm final load and "bridge" the amp and still get 1500 to each sub.
i mean ive been looking at those as well. jsut tryna look at other options as welli wont be as abrupt as bubba about it..
but to answer your question... no.. ap wont work for your application.
if your pushing a single hdc3, just pick an AQ2200, you can find it on here for around 300 used... and will push that sub VERY nicely
That 1 ohm was after rise I believe. I was looking into those as well.if your looking for good power @ 1ohm on a budget, another good amp to look at is the crescendo bc2000... clamped 2150 @ 1 ohm, for 339 new
