its really hard to find a difference between products...the only thing that you will notice is model differences. such as secondskin damplifier as opposed to second skin dampX....you get the picture.

you could always go with the elemental designs edead v.1. never personally used it but it is cheaper than damplifier and ed's customer service is awesome.

Hahaha. Man, i still got a whole 50 sq. ft. roll left and about 1/3 of the first roll left and i've done everything except the floor. Maybe i'll do a second layer everywhere and maybe a three in some places.

oh, and for keeping the sound inside of the car, I would sound dampen it. to at least 3 layers of 60 mil material through out the entire car, foowed by a barrier (vinyl, closed cell foam) then by an absorber (opencelled foam)

this will keep the sound in the car, and keep all other noised out of the car.
