Ok so far this season, not counting the past the score is 1 - 0 in favor of the pimp.

But really I wana start this to speak on our enclosures. This has been on my mind for a week or so now.

Those of you who have seen and listen to our whips pls chime in.

I would ask that this not get outa hand pls men and boys... I have been told that my car isn't loud... Ok who cares it does numbers, this is my frame of mind.

When lisn n to da pimps car its louder to the ear vs mine but he says I'm louder.

How's this ? Yes I know two way diff enclosure types yes 4 15s vs 2 18s. Yes two diff cars but about the same amout of cabin space. Actually think hes got more. But we use same power. I've got more amps in my car then he as well as more batts.

Not dissin in anyway jus cn if sumone could explain why this is. But the nex person dat cums to me and says dats it... Like de doin sooo much more then I, I kno sumpn ! LOL.

i dont have an explanation for ya ant, but i know what you mean when you say robin's is louder to the ear. i can second that! not dissin your car at all, i love your setup too, something different and puts up awesome numbers. I'd like to know too. i think he is peaking lower than you too.. hmm.

Lol I keep tellin him he's so much louder to the ear and yah he peaks way lower then I. Very happy with how quiet I am sealed up and really low flex. I believe this is wats helps my put the nums up.

Code I hope u get nasty. I thing ur very close and on ur way homie. Was mpressd with ur 18. Man I'm stin in class dyn of boredom... Playin on da net lol. Can't wait to c ur build man.

from reading the other peoples posts, im guessing your comparing a higher tuned system to a lower tuned system?

I have not had a chance to get a real demo with Robin's yet, but i heard yours last weekend in Port Charlotte.

I do think that his is louder to the ear (last time i heard it he had DC's). But yes, yours has 1/8ths the amount of cabin flex his does. That is what helps you keep the score up.

Probably because they are both very different systems in very different vehicles, and you both are simply used to your respective cars...

Some cars meter really well but don't sound as loud and some feel as the the world is coming to an end but don't meter for nothing. It has a lot to do with the tuning of the system and the resonant of the car and many many other factors.
