My brother just got his sub and box. So for parallel we have one wire go from negative - to negative - and then positive + to positive + and the from one + and one - to the connector on the box right? By the way does anyone know what kind of impedance this would yield for an Adire Shiva Mk 4

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
