I think this is possible, but I wanna ask before I go ahead and try.

Is it possible to wire one DVC sub to 2 ohms off of a mono amp? How do I go about doing this?

How about one SVC Sub?

Yes to both questions. For a SVC drive you would just hook up a single pair of speaker wires to the amp + to + and - to - .

With a DVC you can wire the coils in series to get 4 ohms (with a DVC 2 ohm driver) or you can wire it in parallel and get 1 ohm. The choice would depend on the impedance load that you amplifier is stable at...

In a ported or sealed box, what's better for it?

OK, so off of my mono amp, do I just treat each coil like one sub, and wire each coil the same as I'd wire two SVC's to achieve a 2ohm load??

I'm confused, obviously
